Shore Dives
“Brilliant dives in some of the clearest waters we have ever been diving in…and the marine life was spectacular.”
Just a small selection of our most popular shore dives…
Mar Azul
Level: Advanced Open Water +
Depth: 4–30m

A giant stride entry into a sheltered bay teaming with aquatic life. We follow the edge of the bay to the right and approach an ‘A’ frame shaped swim-through at 17 metres. This is followed by a further swim-through at 30 metres (certification allowing). This dive site offers a chance to explore overhangs and small caverns and gives us an opportunity to see a huge variety of marine life including: rays, moray eels, angel sharks, octopus and anemones.
Playa Paraiso
Level: Open Water +
Depth: 0-23m
Distance from dive centre: 20mins by car.
One of our most popular shore dive sites! The entry is via a small sandy beach. With sand to our left and rock formations to our right, this dive site is home to lots of fish! Bream, Wrasse, Eagle Rays as well as an enormous yet very friendly Atlantic Ray! Damsels, Octopus, Trumpet Fish and Cuttlefish can also be seen here. There is a swim through at 19m and interesting rock formations plus a large anchor with a seabed of both sand and rocks.
El Puertito
Level: All

Distance from dive centre: 20mins by car.
A must dive for everyone! This sheltered bay has a handful of small buildings and a small sandy beach. In conjunction with the University of La Laguna, a small marine reserve has been established over the last few years. All sea urchins have been removed which has allowed vegetation and corals to grow. This program also introduced a male and female Greenback Turtle, which have successfully bred and we now have a family of five! As well as the turtles, there is an abundance of sea life here, including Rays and Sea Horses.
Palm Mar Pier
Level: Open Water Diver +
Depth: 2-20m.
Distance from dive centre: 10mins by car.
Entry to this dive site is via a quiet stony beach. After a short surface swim to the start of a sandy valley, we arrive at the rock walls.
