Just home after 3 great weeks in Tenerife, listening to the weather forecast here tonight, storm force 10, with force 11 possible!
The wind limited our diving a little, but there was still the angel shark, the giant atlantic ray, and the sardine-munching octopus, all on the one dive !
Still trying to figure out how that octopus got that ring-pull open !

we arrived back home today, but with a lots of beautiful memories of our diving experiences back in Tenerife. You were right when you told me, that I will be thinking about you – poor guys, they have to dive every day… tomorrow is my first day at work after my vacation and I am already jealous.. and I would love to go to the watter, enjoy the sunrise and just dive more.
Thank you for your hospitality, the apres dive tee and the antes dive tee, for answering all my questions, giving the answers also to the questions not related to diving, but to the living in your lovely island. What I have to point out is, that I felt very safe and this way I could enjoyed my dives more and more, I just didnt have more time..
Each dive was different, I have seen lots of fish, turtles, rocks, absolutely beautiful and fully recommended..
and the first thing I have done online when I came home, was that I was checking the tickets for comming back to Tenerife..
I will definitelly miss you, but hopefully to see you – sooner or later.

Hi Tim and Tara. Well wot can i say except ‘THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH’. Anyone reading this should know that Tim and Tara are truely trust-worthy, caring and above all they put your health and safety first, before your money. When the weather changed and caused the visibility to become bad and the see a little rough, Tim and Tara decided it was unsafe for our 18 year old daughter Shelby to complete her adventure diving course and gave us the money back for the dives she did not complete. However on a good note, she did complete her open water course and it was because of that and the way they treated her that we encouraged Shelby to continue to the next level with Tim. The reasons being that as parents we were worried about Shelby doing a night dive, Therefore as we trusted Tim it felt right that she should do this with him unfortunately this was not ment to be as this was when the weather changed.
Well Tim and Tara i hope your move to the other side of the pool has gone smoothly and i wish you all the luck in the word. Thank you once again, from Jill, Dean and Shelby.

Had a great time this year diving with you. I first dived with Sol Scuba last year, my first time at diving, and completed my open water course. I loved it so much that i went back to them this year and completed my advanced open water course, efr and rescue diver. What an amazing experience !

Just back from another enjoyable trip to Las Islas. Confined to port for a few days because of adverse winds, but many thanks again to Tim for the dives we did get. Discovered Las Ilhas Salvagens on the flight home, can we put them on the list for the next trip !

Had A great time doing my advancad open water .Most importantly was able to relax ,even though everything was done by the book it was at a slow pace that allows you to take it all in.The gear was first class also.Will definitly make my way there for a few dives.
I just thought I would write to thank you for taking us on our 4 dives last week. As 59 year olds, we appreciated your knowledge, skill, expertise, professionalism and patience whilst diving with us. You took us to 3 dives sites that we didn’t know and helped us improve our diving whilst we were enjoying the beautiful environment.
Thank you for taken us half-way round the island to find a dive site with better conditions on our first day.It is a pity we couln’t do our first night dive, but we realised that you were concerned about the conditions and you put safety first. Perhaps next time?
The equipment was first-class and we always felt safe whilst diving.
We will definately be back to dive with you again.

As I struggle to work during the’ Big Freeze,’ I wonder why I bother. The reason is though, working pays for my diving holidays in Tenerife with you and other divers and where else I wonder would I get to swim so closely with the turtles, antlantic rays, octopus and cuttle fish. Having just taken up underwater photography I really enjoyed the relaxed pace of all my dives with our group. One of my work colleagues is a semi-professional photography and has selected some of my photos for his calendar- printed professionally- so I am well pleased. This year( being the last week in October) was the very best weather and diving conditions I have ever had. It was great. Look out for my report(sorry got snowed under _ literally at the moment- with work.) but will write it up. See you next year.

Learning to diving with Sol Scuba was a fantastic experience. Tim was very calming, tuition was first class and the dives themselves ware amazing. I did not expect to be seeing and touching wild turtles and other amazing fish. The whole experience is something I will never forget

For those who are wanting to dive in Tenerife, I found that Sol Scuba, Tim and his team the utmost professionals and went out of their way to ensure they met your requiremnts in a safe and confident manner, which for me was paramount and very reasuring. They are highly recommended, and you will not be disapointed.
Also they are very flexible and nothing was too much trouble. I hope to be back next year in October and will be doing some more diving with Tim and his team.

I really dont even know where to begin in Praising Sol Scuba, Tim, Tara and his family for making our stay so fantastic while in Teneriefe. We were collected from the Airport on arrival by Tim and his Divemaster Dad Peter. Apart from the mind blowing Diving we all enjoyed while there,Tim helped my Daughter Janice 12 complete her Open Water course.
The rest of us had a week of diverse & wonderful Dives from Yellow mountain to the Turtles at El Portito.The dive sites were interesting and every dive was a new adventure which you were a part of. They just couldnt have possibly done enough for us and had pulled out all the stops.
On a very personal note, unfortunately I took ill on the holiday and again Tim & Tara stepped up and took me to the Hospital.I remained there for several days. Their local knowledge , their sympathy, assistance, willingness to help in the hour of need was nothing short of exceptional.My entire family were treated like personal friends and not customers , as is the case in so many places. Again, Tim Tara and family, we can never thank you enough for all you have done.
We cannot wait to return and are allready planning our Diving Holiday in Teneriefe for 2011!!!!!!!
well what can I say except for “thank you” we had a brilliant time in some of the clearest waters we have ever been diving in and the wildlife was spectacular. You asked what we wanted then tailored our dives around our needs, I can only say we will deffinately be back. For others who may be reading this entry, I can honestly say that you would have to go a long way to get a better dive centre than Sol Scuba and that is if you could actually find one. Sol Scuba are efficient, helpful, easy going, friendly but above all safe…………I need add no more.
We’re now back in Holland for about a week and I can say that the weather in Tenerife is ten times better than here.
I showed the dive-photo’s to everyone and they think I’m very brave.
I’m very excited to dive in Bali, with all the beautiful coral and fish, but I promise I’ll come back to dive with you again!
And I also promised Manuel that I would dive with him sometime…
I really loved the diving this year, I’m much more confident with diving and since I know all those diving skills I don’t have to panic if something happens.

Just wanted to say thanks for a great experience, diving is something I have wanted to do all my life, and you helped me finally accomplish that. I will definitely be back to dive again either in November or March.

For those of you who don’t know about this place its AMAZING!!!
I went to Tenerife for a little birthday trip with my friend. So before I went I emailed a few dive shops and explained what I was coming out for and also My friend is not a diver. From the moment I received a reply back I knew these guys were different to the other shops because the email was personal and actually cared about my business. The fact my friend was not a diver wasn’t a problem because Sol Scuba worked to our needs and took us to places where my friend could do some snorkelling too, I ended up doing 5 dives over 3 days because I just loved how they operated and were so bespoke to what I wanted.
The first dive Tim picked me up from the apartment which was great, the diving was brilliant however I was a little rusty diving without a dry-suit so took me a dive to get myself back to just using a BCD. Tim took this into consideration and lead the dive with that in mind. On that dive we saw some great things the best things were the cuttlefish and the octopus….oh wait and the Cave that we went to. Second dive was a shore dive, I got to see turtles which was amazing!!!
Day Two – Peter picked me up from my apartment and we went to the dive shop to collect the equipment then off to the dive site, when we arrived they decided to abort the dive as the conditions were too bad so they took me to the other side of the island where the conditions were better, I thought this shows the professionalism. The sites we picked were great and as at the time I was a trainee divemaster Mike the dive leader allowed me to do a little mapping and navigation planning before the dive, I thought this was a nice touch. We saw some amazing rock formations and lots of fish.
By the day of my birthday I thought I have seen everything I wanted to see. I went diving and Mike was my buddy while Tim was with a open water student, the dive ended up being the best dive I had done because we saw some kind of amazing crab and just as we were heading back we saw an octopus and then from nowhere the thing I had been hoping to see on every dive was pointed out by Tim an “angel shark” I got to have my picture with it and it made my whole experience better than I would ever have imagined!
I can only say if you are thinking about diving Tenerife dive with SOL SCUBA

Hi gang,
well what can I say except for “thank you” we had a brilliant time in some of the clearest waters we have ever been diving in and the wildlife was spectacular. You asked what we wanted then tailored our dives around our needs, I can only say we will deffinately be back. For others who may be reading this entry, I can honestly say that you would have to go a long way to get a better dive centre than Sol Scuba and that is if you could actually find one. Sol Scuba are efficient, helpful, easy going, friendly but above all safe…………I need add no more.

Hi everyone!
We’re now back in Holland for about a week and I can say that the weather in Tenerife is ten times better than here.
I showed the dive-photo’s to everyone and they think I’m very brave.
I’m very excited to dive in Bali, with all the beautiful coral and fish, but I promise I’ll come back to dive with you again!
And I also promised Manuel that I would dive with him sometime…
I really loved the diving this year, I’m much more confident with diving and since I know all those diving skills I don’t have to panic if something happens.

Just wanted to say thanks for a great experience, diving is something I have wanted to do all my life, and you helped me finally accomplish that. I will definitely be back to dive again either in November or March.

Sooooo sorry its taken me this long to write this!
For those of you who don’t know about this place its AMAZING!!!
I went to Tenerife for a little birthday trip with my friend. So before I went I emailed a few dive shops and explained what I was coming out for and also My friend is not a diver. From the moment I received a reply back I knew these guys were different to the other shops because the email was personal and actually cared about my business. The fact my friend was not a diver wasn’t a problem because Sol Scuba worked to our needs and took us to places where my friend could do some snorkelling too, I ended up doing 5 dives over 3 days because I just loved how they operated and were so bespoke to what I wanted.
The first dive Tim picked me up from the apartment which was great, the diving was brilliant however I was a little rusty diving without a dry-suit so took me a dive to get myself back to just using a BCD. Tim took this into consideration and lead the dive with that in mind. On that dive we saw some great things the best things were the cuttlefish and the octopus….oh wait and the Cave that we went to. Second dive was a shore dive, I got to see turtles which was amazing!!!
Day Two – Peter picked me up from my apartment and we went to the dive shop to collect the equipment then off to the dive site, when we arrived they decided to abort the dive as the conditions were too bad so they took me to the other side of the island where the conditions were better, I thought this shows the professionalism. The sites we picked were great and as at the time I was a trainee divemaster Mike the dive leader allowed me to do a little mapping and navigation planning before the dive, I thought this was a nice touch. We saw some amazing rock formations and lots of fish.
By the day of my birthday I thought I have seen everything I wanted to see. I went diving and Mike was my buddy while Tim was with a open water student, the dive ended up being the best dive I had done because we saw some kind of amazing crab and just as we were heading back we saw an octopus and then from nowhere the thing I had been hoping to see on every dive was pointed out by Tim an “angel shark” I got to have my picture with it and it made my whole experience better than I would ever have imagined!
I can only say if you are thinking about diving Tenerife dive with SOL SCUBA
